Does a Project Manager have to be a software developer? Does he have to know how to code? These debates in IT have been going for decades. That is exactly the reason why we are launching a practical online course which consists of 6 lessons 1,5-2 hour-long each. Upon the completion of the course, you will form a minimum of technical expertise along with the knowledge of software development processes.

Rationalisation of selling particular technical solutions set to a customer, stopping talented developers from technical perfectionism, control over rationality of technical decisions and organising collaboration between Dev and QA are only a few subjects to be worked on during the course. These topics are dictated by the challenges which project managers, business analysts, along with everyone working even indirectly on software development.

The training consists of 6 online lessons (1,5 – 2 hour-long each). The lessons include theoretical and practical examples, and recommendations on implementing and considering the cases.

Boris is a Software development manager with a vast experience in software development. 10 years of his experience were dedicated to working as a programmer in different roles: Senior Software Developer, Lead Software Developer, Team Leader. Boris was actively participating in designing, building and developing big enterprise systems, start-ups, as well as in implementing advanced Agile practices in classical and cross-functional teams. In addition, he does mentoring and training for developers and testers.
Technical experience:
• Back-end development as well as front-end development using Java frameworks (GWT, ZKOSS), JS, React;
• Creating architecture and implementing package solutions for customers needs with further integration into software ecosystems;
• Refactoring, profiling, identifying and eliminating bottle necks in the existing systems;
• Building frameworks for simplifying the process of development and testing;
